While I was in Oklahoma, I connected with Dr. Jeffrey Miller who is going on a five-day medical mission to a small village called Nueva Esperanza (New Hope) just outside of Guatemala City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be servicing a local orphanage Semillas de Esperanza (Seeds of Hope) where he will be seeing around 100 children. He will be providing basic medical care to these children. We bring our own medications and also use a local pharmacy for things we did not have in our stock or supply. In addition, we will be bringing school supplies, new tennis shoes, and some sports supplies like soccer balls and things like that. The name of the charity is called Praiseworthy Ministries based out of Kansas City Missouri. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Total cash donations\/expenditures by Jeffrey going to the charity are going to be $1500, possibly a little more. The contribution of the trip will exceed $6000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
