I connected with Adam Roering who Scott Baxter had contacted. As it turns out Adam was going to be working with a few guys and so it made sense to make the quick move to Minnesota so I could join them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I arrive around 4 pm after my 6-hour drive from Iowa and met the guys one by one as they arrived. After some kiting fun in some pretty high winds it the winds began to drop. Given we wouldn’t be landing until dark, we got the photos out the way and then got the flying going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you see, I got to fly the Apco F1 and got some serious speed doing a wing-over and spirals. It was by far faster than any of the other gliders out on our flight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
