You will recall, while I was in Oklahoma, I connected with Dr. Jeffrey Miller (a Fellow Paramotor Pilot) who is going on a five-day medical mission to a small village called Nueva Esperanza (New Hope) just outside of Guatemala City. Here is an update from his trip on the great work that he did out there.
- 95 patients seen in 3 days. Appx $2500 in meds given.
- 150 toothbrushes given
- Appx 60 children received either a barbie doll or soccer ball depending on gender.
- All of these children were taken to shoe-store and allowed to pick out their own shoes and we bought them for them.
