Kentucky Cold

I arrived Friday afternoon to a cold and windy Union, Kentucky and was met by Kenny. We kept warm in the camper hoping the weather would die down, but sadly, it did not co-operate and we called it a day at 05:45 right before the snow rolled in.

The night wasn’t as cold as I had expected, and was quite pleasant where I woke up early to a beautiful sunrise and a good dusting of snow.

Kenney and Stuart from New Haven Farm (See the Corn Maze in the Video) arrived around 7.30 and we quickly got to work before the wind picked up.

It was definitely cold, but worth the wait overnight to complete the flight. Special thanks to Kenny for securing the LZ and braving the weather with me in flight and Stuart from New Haven Farms who was my second witness and who provided the awesome drone footage.
