Palm Bay PPG 2020 Fly-In

As many of you know I had left Florida and added 7 more states to the list that were completed. Behind the scenes, I had a plan that I kept secret until I reached Ohio where it was announced on Paramotor Nation by David Wolfe (aka Paramotor Crazy) that I would be returning to Florida to attend the Palm Bay PPG 2020 Fly-In.

During my week wait, I carried out the service 100-hour service on Motor and also put out a poll about what videos I should consider making. More about that in my next post.

The service included replacing carburetor gaskets and diaphragms, fuel filter and cleaning the head & piston. I was really excited when it started first pull and idled. It’s been running like a champ now for the 6 hours I’ve put on since.

I arrived around 2 pm on Thursday for the Palm Bay PPG 2020 Fly-In and was excited to already see many faces that I knew. While I totally enjoyed my flight to the coast on Friday, the highlight was all about meeting people and talking with so many pilots. It was incredible to get to hang out with so many new people and touch base with many others.

Here are a bunch of pictures with all the people I got to meet for the first time, with the exception of Jeff Goin who was kind enough to sit down with me for 20-30 mins for a chat before I left. After sharing with him more about my story he asked me if I will write an article at the end of my trip for Powered Sport Flying Magazine. I look forward to writing that.
